Psalms 92:2

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

  1. But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
  2. Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
  3. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
  4. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
  5. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
  6. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  7. I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
  8. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
  9. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
  10. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
