Psalms 92:1

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
  8. Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
  9. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
  10. I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
  11. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
  12. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
  13. But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

  18. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
  19. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
  20. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
  21. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
  22. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
