Psalms 3:4

I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

  8. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
  9. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
  10. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
  11. I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
  12. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  13. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

  16. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
  17. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
  18. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
