Psalms 109:20

Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

  7. Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
  8. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
  9. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
  10. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
  11. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

  16. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
  17. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
  18. Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
