For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

  7. And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
  8. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
  9. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
  10. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
  11. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
