Titus 3:2

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

  9. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
  10. A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
  11. It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.
  12. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
  13. Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
  14. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
  15. For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
  16. Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
  17. For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
  18. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
  19. But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
  20. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
  21. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
  22. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
  23. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
  24. Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
  25. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
  26. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
  27. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
  28. Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
  29. But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
  30. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
  31. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
