Romans 9:31

But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

  6. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
  7. Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
  8. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
