Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

  11. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
  12. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
  13. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
