Romans 7:23

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

  8. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
  9. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
  10. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
  11. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
  12. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
  13. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
  14. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
