Romans 6:11

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  1. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
  2. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
  3. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
  4. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
  5. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  6. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
  7. To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
  8. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
  9. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
  10. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
  11. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
  12. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
  13. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
  14. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
  15. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
