Romans 14:13

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

  9. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
  10. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
  11. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
  12. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
  13. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
  14. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
  15. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
  16. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
  17. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
  18. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
  19. Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
  20. That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
  21. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
  22. Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
  23. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
  24. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
  25. But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
