Romans 10:16

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

  6. That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
  7. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
  8. By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
  9. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
  10. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
  11. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
  12. But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
  13. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
  14. And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
  15. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
  16. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
  17. And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
  18. Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
