Romans 1:25

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

  7. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
  8. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
  9. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  10. Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
  11. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
  12. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
  13. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
  14. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
  15. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
  16. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
  17. For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
  18. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
  19. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  20. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
  21. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
  22. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
