Psalms 9:2

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

  9. For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
  10. For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
  11. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
  12. O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:
  13. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  14. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
