Psalms 86:7

In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

  6. I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
  7. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
  8. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
  9. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
  10. LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
  11. I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
  12. And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
  13. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
  14. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
