Psalms 86:3

Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
  9. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
