Psalms 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

  9. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  10. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
  11. He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
  12. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
  13. Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
  14. O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
  15. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
  16. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
  17. Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
  18. Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
  19. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
  20. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
  21. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
  22. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
  23. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
  24. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
  25. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
  26. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
  27. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
