Psalms 82:1

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

  1. And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment. Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

  8. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
  9. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
  10. If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
