Psalms 8:1

O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

  7. But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
  8. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
  9. Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
  10. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
  11. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
  12. His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
  13. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
  14. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
  15. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
  16. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
  17. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
  18. O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

  25. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
  26. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
