Psalms 62:11

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

  3. And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
  4. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
  5. Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
  6. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
  7. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
  8. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
  9. Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
