Psalms 5:5

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

  6. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
  7. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
  8. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
  9. I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
  10. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
  11. Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
  12. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
  13. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
  14. How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
  15. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
  16. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
  17. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
  18. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
  19. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
  20. For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
