Psalms 49:9

That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

  9. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
  10. Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
  11. He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
  12. God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
  13. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
