Psalms 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
  10. In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
  11. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
  12. That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
  13. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
  14. Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
  15. And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;
  16. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
  17. Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
  18. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
  19. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
