Psalms 37:31

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

  2. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
  3. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
  4. Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
  5. But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
  6. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
  7. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  8. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
  9. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
  10. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
  11. Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
  12. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
  13. Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
  14. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
  15. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
  16. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
  17. The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
  18. Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
  19. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
