Psalms 37:30

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

  5. The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
  6. The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
  7. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.
  8. Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
  9. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
  10. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
  11. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
