Psalms 35:10

All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

  8. Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
  9. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
  10. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
  11. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
  12. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
  13. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
  14. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
  15. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
  16. For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
  17. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
  18. For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
  19. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
  20. For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
  21. Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
  22. To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
  23. To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
  24. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
