Psalms 34:14

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

  12. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
  13. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
  14. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  15. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
  16. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
  17. And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
  18. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
  19. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
  20. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
  21. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
  22. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
  23. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
