For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

  8. Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
  9. Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
  10. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
  11. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
  12. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
  13. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
  14. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
  15. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
  16. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
  17. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
