Psalms 31:2

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

  9. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
  10. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
  11. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
  12. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
  13. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
  14. But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
  15. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  16. Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.
  17. He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
  18. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
  19. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
  20. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
  21. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
