Psalms 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

  2. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

  6. And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
  7. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
  8. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
  9. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
  10. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
  11. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
  12. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
  13. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
  14. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
  15. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
  16. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
  17. And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
  18. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
  19. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
  20. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
  21. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
  22. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
  23. I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
  24. Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
  25. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
  26. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
  27. Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
  28. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
  29. And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.
  30. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
