Psalms 27:13

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

  8. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
  9. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
  10. For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
  11. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: I said in my haste, All men are liars.
  12. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
  13. Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
  14. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
  15. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
  16. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
  17. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
