Psalms 25:19

Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

  9. Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
  10. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
  11. My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
  12. O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
  13. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
  14. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
  15. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
  16. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
  17. And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
  18. But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
