Psalms 21:1

The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

  6. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
  7. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
  8. O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
  9. The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
  10. The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
  11. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
  12. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
  13. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
