Psalms 16:1

Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

  6. He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

  8. O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
  9. For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
  10. O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
  11. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
  12. Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
  13. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
  14. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
  15. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
  16. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
  17. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
  18. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
  19. But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
  20. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
