There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

  12. The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
  13. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
  14. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
  15. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
  16. But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
  17. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
  18. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
