Psalms 135:4

For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
  7. For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
  8. For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
  9. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
  10. O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
  11. But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
  12. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
  13. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
