Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

  2. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  3. Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.

  7. So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
  8. And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even; And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD: And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
  9. My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.
  10. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
  11. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
  12. Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
  13. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
  14. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
  15. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

  23. And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
  24. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
  25. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
