Psalms 12:2

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

  10. They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
  11. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.

  13. For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
  14. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
  15. He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
  16. A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
  17. Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
  18. For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
  19. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
