Psalms 109:24

My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.

  7. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
  8. My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
  9. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
  10. In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
