Psalms 107:1

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

  8. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
  9. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
  10. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
  11. O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
  12. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
  13. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
  14. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
  15. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
