Psalms 1:6

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

  2. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

  5. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
  6. O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
  7. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
  8. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
  9. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
  10. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
  11. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
  12. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
  13. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
  14. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
