Proverbs 4:5

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

  8. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
  9. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
  10. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
  11. Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
  12. Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.
  13. He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
  14. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
  15. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
