I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

  2. Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
  3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
  4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
  5. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
  6. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
  7. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
  8. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
  9. And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
  10. And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
