Proverbs 27:18

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

  6. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.
  7. And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
  8. Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

  11. But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.
  12. The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
  13. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
  14. A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
  15. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
  16. Behold, I have told you before.
  17. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
  18. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
  19. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
  20. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
  21. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
  22. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
  23. And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
  24. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
  25. Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
  26. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
  27. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
  28. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
  29. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
