Proverbs 20:3

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

  10. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
  11. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
  12. From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
