Proverbs 12:7

The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

  10. It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
  11. He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
  12. Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
  13. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
  14. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
  15. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
  16. Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
  17. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
  18. The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
  19. Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
