Proverbs 10:28

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
  9. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
  10. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
  11. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
