And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:

  1. If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
  2. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
  3. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
  4. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
