Matthew 9:37

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

  1. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

  7. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
  8. For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
  9. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
  10. We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
  11. But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
  12. And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
  13. And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
  14. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
