And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

  9. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
  10. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
  11. The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
  12. And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
  13. And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
  14. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
  15. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
